The re-usable superficial (S-Blunt) micro-electrode tip (with 49 S-Blunt electrodes arranged in a 7 by 7 array) utilizes blunt and short (only 2.5 mm long) electrodes to avoid skin penetration but allow fractional RF energy delivery to the epidermis. Disposable (single use) dermal (D-PIN) tips (with 49 sharp needles arranged in a 7 by 7 array) are also included with purchase. The D-PIN arrays utilize fine, super-sharp 14 mm (0.1 to 0.2 mm thickness) needles capable of precisely puncturing and delivering mechanical and FRF energy to the deepest tissue layers (up to 5 mm deep).
