The multi-depth capabilities of the iFRAX System offer a revolutionary “tri-mode” approach to comprehensive non-invasive skin rejuvenation:
Mode 1 (epidermis): Fractional skin resurfacing—By simply using lower energy levels and more shallow PIN depth selections, the treatment effect can be limited to the epidermal skin layers for visible improvement of skin texture, pigmented lesions, and other (epidermal) indications.
Mode 2 (dermis): Fractional sub-dermal heating—By utilizing higher energy levels and deeper penetration the minimally-invasive micro-pin array can deliver RF energy to the deepest layers of the reticular dermis. The controlled “fractional” injury leads to immediate collagen shrinkage for instant “skin tightening” and results in the production of new collagen (via stimulation of fibroblast activity), elastin and hyaluron with no – or minimal- injury to the epidermis.
